Compression Garments for Recovery

Compression after a body procedure controls swelling, limits fluid build-up and helps the skin settle evenly against the new contour.

A faja is a full bodysuit that compresses the torso, hips and thighs at once. It suits patients recovering from multi-area contouring, where even pressure across the whole treated zone matters more than targeted support.

A waist binder wraps the abdomen only. It is the simpler option for abdominal procedures and for patients stepping down from a full bodysuit in the later weeks of recovery.

Sizing decides whether the garment works. Too loose and it gives no compression, too tight and it restricts circulation, so measure the patient at the waist and hips before choosing a size and plan on a smaller size as swelling drops.
